Education
Every child deserves access to a safe and supportive education.
We bring donations into one shared fund and use them to cover school fees for children based on their individual circumstances. School costs vary considerably depending on the child’s age, school and educational needs.
Our support goes beyond school fees. Depending on each child’s situation, it can also include the essentials they need to attend and benefit from their education, particularly for children in boarding schools and when schooltrips happen. As children grow, we also want to support their next steps through further education or university where possible.
Whether supporting the education of one child or contributing to the shared fund, every donation helps create access to education and opportunities for a child’s future.

English
English can open doors to education, work and future opportunities. For many children in our neighbourhood, English is not part of their everyday life.
Our English lessons are open to children from the local community who voluntarily choose to participate. The lessons take place in the afternoons after school and on weekends, giving children the opportunity to learn and practise English in a relaxed and supportive environment alongside their regular education.
We focus on making learning fun and practical. Through games, songs, conversations and activities, the children can build their vocabulary, practise speaking and, most importantly, gain confidence in using English.
Your donation helps us provide the teachers, learning materials and activities needed to keep these lessons going for the children in our community.
One month. One group. One important life skill.
Every December, when the children are on school break, we aim to bring together a group of children for an intensive swimming program.
For several weeks, the children take part in daily swimming lessons, giving them the chance to learn and practise consistently rather than attending occasional lessons. The lessons are led by three professional swimming instructors, who are specifically engaged for the program.
The program takes place when sufficient funding is available, allowing us to cover the swimming lessons, transport and other costs involved in bringing the group together.
For us, swimming is more than a fun activity. It is an important life skill that can build confidence, independence and safety around water.
